Project Definition
From the Team Project Guidelines by Professor Emborski:
The assignment is to create project documents. In order to do that, you need to treat the work of creating those documents as a project. This implies that you AS STUDENTS must plan the work, assign responsibilities and set a schedule for your team to deliver the various elements of the assignment. (For example: someone should be assigned to draft the risk analysis and risk management plan. That piece of the work should have an entry in the class team's WBS and a required date.) The output of the assignment is a complete set of project planning documents for the actual IT or telecom-related project you have selected to document. Your team will be required to produce two WBSs and project plans: the first for how you as students will split up the work and attack the assignment, and the second for what the fictional project team will have to do to deliver the project you have selected.

New York State Camping Reservation/Registration System (NYSCR/RS)

Project Description
This project establishes the operating mechanism used by the State of New York for taking camping reservations, registering campers on arrival, collecting fees, and properly accounting for revenue for all campgrounds under the jurisdiction of three different agencies. While the project is constrained in some areas by the existing procedures and facilities, this project is also aimed at upgrading the system capability to reduce the redundancy of reservation data, speed the transmission of data to various locations, improve the availability of management and administrative reporting data, and make the campground reservation/registration process easier for the camper.
